Nice simple mod, which should certainly reduce the number of 'no image' profiles.

You can still join a site with out a photo, so its not that usefully. The script adds a red star to make it look Compusery and its not. Not worth the cash.

The script is good, but it should require user to add a photo and not register without it, with this script they can still register without putting the photo. Rating 7 our of 10

is very useful.. no more profiles without photo!!!!!!!!!! Though it Doesn't Stop on the JOIN PAGE if they do not put a picture in... But Most do.. So it should reduce the Non-Pic members.... :) This is a good clean Purchase.. easy instructions.. simple to install!!! BRavo

Great MOD, even though it doesnt require the picture. To require the picture the field would have to be added, and would require alot more time and money then this mod includes, so you really get what you pay for.

however, i would say 90% of the new members do put up a photo or picture..so it does deliver most of the time..

Thanks for this MOD! Works like a charm, now hopefully members will upload photos!

Certainly worth the $10. Easy to install. So what if a small percentage of people bypass it because its not mandatory? Most people use it. I think Im going to warn people without pix that their account will be set to suspended after a month if they dont have a profile picture! After all they are just taking up space and not really participating.

Sure it's not mandatory to upload a photo to proceed with joining BUT, it's very nice to save new members several steps uploading a photo while joining !!!

I did find one little bug however.

When doing the advanced install, the following occurred:

Yhe text "_UPLOAD_YOUR_IMAGE" will appear next to the browse window.

This came from here in the script:

4. Look for:

echo "";


And insert below:


// Start PHOTO UPLOAD Mod
echo "

" . _t( "_UPLOAD_YOUR_IMAGE") . ":   

";
// End PHOTO UPLOAD Mod


All that needs to be done is replace "_UPLOAD_YOUR_IMAGE"
with "Upload Photo" (or whatever you choose)

I have to replace the old "join_form.php" and all it is returned normal....any suggestion?

does not work if you have more than one join page..however, the programmer advised me that he will let me know when the code is rewritten so that it will work on my site.

mod works but makes captcha not work..

Even though this states 'updated version' this product does not work with version 6.1. The seller refused to work with me, refused to provide a refund, and basically laughed at my loss of $10. I pressed the issue and he said he would tlak to his boss and then never responded to the 6+ e-mails I sent him. This is the worst customer service I have experienced from a developer selling on this site and truly disappointed his lack of profesionalism and his belief that taking $10 from an unhappy customer is better for his business than kindly refunding it since it failed to fuction for me. I will never buy from this person again, irregardless of how great his future products may be. I also encourage everyone else to not buy from this person to let him and other developers know that customer service and willingness to work with clients is expected here. This isn't a school play yard where bullies run the show. Let our pocket books tell this developer that when software doesn't work we don't like being laughed at for foolishly throwing away our money.

So one last time I encourage future buyers to:
