I hope this is the appropriate place to get help > I have followed the detailed instructions and it seems as though it would be very simple and it is (thanks for the clear instructions) - however when I replace the updated files, I do not see the YouTube option > I think I may know where the error is and hoped someone could comment:

You say:
How to install to groups:

1. go into dolphin and look for this file:

/groups/orca/layout/uni/xsl/canvas.xsl - DONE

2. Now look for this code: - HERE IS WHERE I THINK MY ERROR IS:

I MORE CODE HERE ON MY VERSION THAT YOU DO NOT SHOW > DO I CUT THIS CODE?

tinyMCE_GZ.init({

plugins : 'table,advimage,advlink,emotions,iespell,insertdatetime,preview,zoom,searchreplace,print,contextmenu',

themes : 'advanced',

languages : 'en',

disk_cache : true,

debug : false

});

Here is what I see on my screen in this file:

document.write = function (s) { };

tinyMCE_GZ.loadFile = function(u)
{
var x, ex;
if ( window.XMLHttpRequest )
{
x = new XMLHttpRequest();
}
else
{
try {
x = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP");
} catch (ex) {
x = new ActiveXObject("Msxml2.XMLHTTP");
}
}
x.open("GET", u.replace(/%2C/g, ','), false);
x.send(null);
this.scriptData = x.responseText;
};

tinyMCE_GZ.init({
plugins : 'table,advimage,advlink,emotions,iespell,insertdatetime,preview,zoom,searchreplace,print,contextmenu',
themes : 'advanced',
languages : 'en',
disk_cache : true,
debug : false
});
eval(tinyMCE_GZ.scriptData);

Please help me get this up and running.

I have Dolphin 60003 on a hostforweb system.

I followed the instructions and in both the Profiles and the Forums there is now a youtube icon that does call up the youtube box.
It seems to accept the URL of a movie but when I then make my post and check there is no movie there.

In the profiles you get an empty space the size the movie is meant to be.
________

The text to replace was not what I had in my Dolphin version - Boonex seem to have changed these files since this mod was created (?)
However I just found the appropriate sections and added 'youtube' to the TinyMCE lines wehere it is added in the instrructions.

Would you please update the instructions for the latest build - or better yet offer a paid installation service. This is such an important mod !! Please help me to get it working.

For Dolphin 6.00003, it only works on blog new post, but instead of putting the youtube url, you have to put the youtube id in order to work.

I can only get it work by input the url, but the video will goes blank and get messy too when you try to edit the post. Also the classified and profile comments, the youtube plugin won't work on these too.

I made all the changes
so, I inserted a url and it inserted three objects, one clear square and two youtube objects (after I disabled popup blocker and lost my post), and it saved, but then I couldn't get back into any group posts. I checked it in mysql and the code didn't save, so it wasn't that. I've rolled back the changes and deleted the plugin but can't get group forums to show posts again. drat
