Product Description
Forbidden words blocker will prevent from posting in your site any content with words blocked by admin.
Advantages:
1) Whole Dolphin's content is under control by admin - none of these forbidden words can appear in users messages, guestbooks, polls, comments...
2) AJAX-based admin panel.
3) Possibility to inform about every attempt to write something with words from "black list".
4) Simplified installation process even for those people who have little experience with computers.
How it works:
Admin sets new word using by any robots and scammers - he enters it in forbidden words section (picture 1).
User tries to send message with this word via compose message section (picture 2), but he will get notification about forbidden words in his message (picture 3).
After pressing "Ok" he will be returned back to compose message.

This mod will not let any forbiden words even get submitted into profile it blocks it before it ever hits profile. very cool. it will not alow any word you dont want in the site. Good bad or other wise they will not go in if you dont want them to. very ewasy to work with easy to install. Thanks

Good mod but won't block forbidden words in forum that is installed with dolphin.

Purchased and installed this mod. Had some small issues at first... but with the excellent support provided the forbidden words and shoutbox manager by this vender are installed and work properly... 100%

This is a great mod. I found out that this works very well but almost to well. If you add the word "test" to block and if someone enters "testing" it will give you a bad word cause "testing" has "test" in it. I contacted the owner and got a very quick reply on how to make this work so that only "test" would be caught. See the changes listed below in case others need this. Basically this will cause it to search for a space before the banned word and also after the banned word so only the actual word will be caught and not other words that may have the word in it.
just change this string in inc/forbidden.inc.php file:
$iPosWord = stristr($sqlQuery, $aWord['Word']);
to this one:
$iPosWord = stristr($sqlQuery, ' '.$aWord['Word'].' ');
