For me it didn't work out, its easy to install and important easy to uninstall also (take you about 45 minutes in total).
Don't forget to delete the inserts in MySql, this took another 20 minutes of nervous time.
For me the design of the profiles was totally destroyed and I got following error message:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare cfriends() (previously declared in /home/humanita/public_html/templates/base/scripts/BxBaseProfileView.php:1106) in /home/humanita/public_html/templates/base/scripts/BxBaseProfileView.php on line 1106
