Product Description
This modification allows to search profiles by their location (using distance from a zip / postal code). After apllying this modification it's easy to search not only by City or Country but also by district or even block. It's easy to find profiles which are closely near from you. You also can find profiles by country region or by set of cities. It has a small size an easy to install. Contains about 2 150 000 records of UK postal codes. Easy to install to any database platform. Contains full information (zip code, longitude, latitude, x y coordinates).
To install UK Postal Codes y o u n e e d:
Unzip the file on your PC
Delete the first row in the uk.csv file
Open your Cpanel / PhpMyAdmin
Open zipcodes table
Click Insert data from a text file into the table
Location of the text file: uk-postcodes.csv
Change Fields terminated by to ,
Set to Column names ZIPCode, Latitude, Longitude
click submit
It should be done

This Mod wasnt easy to install, I had to make changes to the collation within my SQL database.
Also, only allows searching of the 1st 3 characters on postcodes, so not the full 6, which is a problem, not bad for the price.

The postal codes must have been updated as they work well! A great price for a massive database of postal codes, thanks!

had the mod 4 days tried to install 4 times as per instructions e-mailed the creator and said he would fix it if we give him access, gave him access and still not fixed, wont reply to emails stay away from this one.
i am gonna get a coder to re write the code so it works and resell it to get my money back.
