This is a very usefull mod used by popular sites like Facebook and Orkut. By default, if one nickname has already been registered, a new member can not register with the same nickname.
BUT IF 2 JOHNS of the same name have to join ure site. WITH THIS MOD, BOTH THE JOHNS CAN CREATE SAME NICKNAMES. NICKNAMES MAY NOT BE UNIQUE ANY MORE !!!!
With this mod your members can register with the nickname that has already been registered ! You can register with the same nickname as many times as possible without a problem. TESTED in search, links, login and blah blah blah !
