Web Presence Widget is very helpful feature but its placing very inconvenient. You should always click on the link to open it in the separate window. This mod allow to you have Presence Widget always at hand. But it will not occupy useful space of a site, as it has auto hiding feature. Also if you want you can set parameter in a code and Presence Widget will always display on your pages.
You can see how this addon work on the http://dolphinzzz.com. You need to register and log in for this, because Presence Widget available only after log in.
