These two scripts CAN ease the permissions requirement when installing dolphin. On NORMAL servers, running the preinstall script will create the directory and file structure for dolphin and set the correct permission. You then FTP the dolphin files OVER what the script created. The permissions will remain. Then you run the dolphin install. Then finally you run the post-install script and it sets the permissions to what dolphin requires.
