Continual Improvement Project for my website. I am looking for a reliable, honest and affordable PHP expert with very strong familiarity with Boonex products to help me with my site. As I am not a technical person, strong communications are critical to me. This person must be willing to provide references and work samples, discuss the project via telephone/skype, sign a non-disclosure agreement and disclose/prove his/her real, honest-to-goodness name and identity. I will own the modifications to my site unless they are part of your current offerings, so please do not plan to re-sell our collective work. I am giving this person access to my server so a great deal of trust on both sides is critical for the project. The site improvement project touches these key areas: I. Security-Review the site settings and fix any security loop holes. For example, every directory set to "777" is read/write and a hacker can add new files to them. Ensure that any methods to strengthen the security of the site on the current server are employed. II. Functionality-Identifying and correcting any bugs within the Dolphin portion of the site; ensuring that the server configuration is appropriate for a larger number of users (+15,000 members) a. Password issues (many members have difficulty with their passwords b. Event calendar in chronological order III. Search Engine Optimization - Dolphin puts the same meta tags and meta description on every page of the site. Headers employ the use of "alt" tags on pictures and links. Be available for a one hour conversation to discuss SEO improvements on the site with a social media expert. IV. Forum integration and improvement-ensure that the forum is fully integrated into the site’s communications (IM,PM etc. goes to member in-boxes, not a separate in-box) platform and design template; maximize the ability of members to modify and shape the forum as appropriate. (Forum is currently in Phpbb-I don’t know if I should go back to Boonex) V. EZine solution-Evaluate custom Content Management System (site Ezine) for possible integration into Dolphin portion of the site; Evaluate other off the shelf tools that may offer a faster/better solution in terms of functionality and site engine optimization. Identify the appropriate solution; fully execute the integration. VI. Create RSS Feeds for the site and show me how do to it VII. Enhance the “Invite a friend” function of the site so that members can add a string of email addresses separated by commas while also being able to import CSV files from other mailboxes. (Not just gmail, yahoo, etc.) VIII. Enhancing functionality of email application to mirror Expertzzz application. (I like the conversational buttons, ability to reply etc. ) IX. Implement a system that shows how "complete" your profile is based on the things you have added/uploaded to stimulate member participation. (A la LinkedIn) X. Create a module/block that has a news aggregator in it. It would somehow look like a newsstand (within reason and within Dolphin) and each entry would have the front cover of a magazine (.jpg) with a 2-3 sentence article summary. Members can read an overview or entire article by clicking on cover and then vote on the article. There would also be a link to the news source website. Up to 15 different little "Magazines" XI. Make certain that ALL changes adhere to the design/modifications on the site-please include this in your price. XII. Continual improvements to design elements and site functionality as necessary (I come up with new stuff all the time! :-) Please provide a cost and a timeframe for each portion of the project along with your contact information.
