online status change needed

i have not long had 1000 members database added to my site, i asked someone to change the status to show at least 650 to show online,(as they were all showing offline) thats done,

but now i dont just need them to show as online in the stats box, i also need some way of when the other members look to see who's online they will actually see members profiles as if they were online, and not just a page saying no members found online,,

oh and also when the online stats status was changed to show at least 650 members online it messed up and dosn't show actual members when they are online, so i need it sorting to show at least 650 members online (or a random amount each time) and to show actual members who are online,

i need this sorting asap,,,,,TODAY PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

and i only have a very small budget..
