Shared Photos System Modification

i have been studying dolphin and just found out that all the shared photos which are shown appears as background images in the blocks. not images. which is bad for my type of site. coz im using dolphin as an art community. can u work up on this job for me?
what i want is to change the structure of this site and the images which appears shouldnt be background images. should be real images so users can right click and save them as well.

when a user uploads shared image. he will have an image size selection option like 800px or 900px that which size he wants to select so when somone click on taht shared photo it should load tht size right in that block and all the blocks on that page resizes for that image to fit. which means that on click on the image, it resizes
