Get Orca Private-Public Forums to Work

I currently have Dolphin 6.0 with Orca 1.1 installed. The site is mainly a private site for a small group of gamers, but will also have some public areas. Therefore, it is important that I have the ability to have private forums that work. Currently, when I enable a forums as Private on Orca, no user or even the Admin can gain access to read or post.

I am looking for someone who can setup my forums so that a user can be enabled to view a private forum. If possible, I would like to have groups that allow access to different private forums. For example, Group 1 of users could access public forums and private forums 1-4 and group 2 could access public forums and private forums 5-8, and group 3 could access all publice and privare forums. I have always been able to do this on any other forum software using groups, but cannot figure out how to do it on Orca.
