Blog - Picture submission modification

At present a person has to go through a number of hoops to add pictures to their blogs on Dolphin; I'd like to find someone who can help build a mod for us to simplify the process.

I'm setting up a community website and one feature we'd like to have is the ability for site user's to use images from their photo galleries to place in their blogs.

If it's possible, we'd also like site users to be able to select from their desktop an image that would then be pushed to their photo gallery as well as being cross-published simultaneously to their blog (Kinda like using WordPress or Movable Type).

This mod would need to be able to find the photo - either in the user's gallery or from the desktop - and then assign it where the user wants it, with the ability for the user to preview the photo and if necessary scale the photo down when inserting the picture so that it's proportional to the rest of the page.
